Vimanas part II (Advanced flying)

Kimmo Huosionmaa

I just thought that could Vimana just be an ancient heat air balloon?  If the balloon is big enough it can raise even very large objects from the ground, and even if modern days the regulations and rules are made about this kind of vehicles before aircraft were not air-traffic regulations. The thing would be very easy to create, and it is actually the tubes, what are blowing air under the parachute or inside the oil-canvas balloon. This is one version of the hot-air balloon, and if the parachute would be over the Vimana, the air, what rises to capillary tubes might give enough power to rise that device from the ground.

And if the fire burns below the tubes, would they increase the flow of the heated air, what makes possible to raise the hot-air balloon faster and higher than in regular burning.  In fact, we must not think conventional things, when we are thinking about the flight, and one way to think that thig is that rocket motor can actually pull the thing upwards.

If the canvas of pulling chute is made by the fire-resistant material like asbestos, this opposite operating rocket motor would make Vimanas true. This kind of system would allow hanging the module in the sky, and then fly the craft to space. The limit of the normal heat-air balloon is caused because of the gas in the burner would not burn in low-level oxygen and low air pressure. But if the torch would use oxygenized, would it rise the module in very high altitude.

The idea of the opposite operating rocket motor bases in the same idea, that the normal torch or gas burner would be replaced by using rocket motor or oxygenized version of the gas burner. In this theoretical spacecraft, the motor would not make a thrust at all. It would just push the exhaust gas to the parachute-style sail, what would pull the craft to the sky. And in some futuristic versions, the antimatter engine would pump the antimatter ions to the metal plate, what is forward of the spaceship, and the particles of the annihilation will drive the spaceship forward. Sometimes is planned to make fusion motor, what burns artificial sun or make nuclear detonation between spaceships and giant sail. This sail is in very far away from the spacecraft.

This sail will be actually the one version of a solar sail, and in the begin of the journey, it can use the solar wind to accelerate the ship, but later it would transform to use the active source for the particles. And this source can be the particle accelerator, what would drive the spacecraft forward. This system can launch the ions to that sail, and cause that the journey can continue outside our solar system. Little bit more conventional versions to the plate will target the electron-ray what will work like the annihilation, but the punch will be more gently.  The shield would make the weak thrust of the electron accelerator motor more powerful. The electron accelerating motor is one version of the ion motors.  But this system would not need particles, what comes from the sun to the journey.

Those oxygenized torches can actually rise this kind of device very high altitude, and if there is horizontal propels around it, this device could travel through the air, because the air turbines can rotate those propellers by using cogwheels, and this would make possible to flight that device to the horizontal direction. There are also some other ways to make this very interesting thing real in the real world. One is just connecting the capillary tubes to the propellers of the regular airship, and that allows the small size airship fly in extreme long trips. This system would be very useful in intelligence and other versions of the airship.

The new 3D printers are coin-size systems.

"The tiny device could enable a user to rapidly create customized, low-cost objects on the go, like a fastener to repair a wobbly bicycle wheel or a component for a critical medical operation. Credit: Sampson Wilcox, RLE" (Scitech, Tiny Titan: MIT’s Revolutionary Coin-Sized 3D Printer Fits in Your Pocket) Researchers created a 3D printer that is coin-size. That kind of printer can create things like microchips. But it's possible. Those tiny 3D printers can also work in extremely large-size projects. In simplest models, the 3D printers are positioned on tracks. The 3D printer itself is the tool, that can be part of the modular production systems.  There are visions of high-temperature metal printers installed on the gantry cranes. That makes those crane printers that can make even ship-size things. The crane that the printer controls can move back and forth and the printer can move horizontally. This kind of thing can turn the crane into a high-temperature 3D printer, that...

Quantum computers and ultra-fast photonic microchips can danger even the most secure communication.

"Quantum computers could pose a major security risk to current communication systems in 12-15 years with their exponentially greater speed and code-breaking ability. (ScitechDaily, Today’s Most-Secure Communications Threatened by Future Quantum Computers) Quantum computers can break entire binary cryptography. And that makes all communication unsecured. That is one of the greatest threats in quantum computing. And this brings the arms race to the quantum age. The quantum computer can create codes that any binary computer can break. But the quantum computer can also break old-fashioned codes. And that makes it an ultimate weapon and sabotage tool.   Quantum computers can change the measurements of the ammunition in factories by changing the system calibration. Or it can delete databases from the opponent's computer systems. This thing can delete all SIM cards from mobile telephones. In peacetime, the hackers that operate using quantum systems can steal the names of the counter-...

Electric power innovations. Fuel cells in aircraft and solar panels over Arizona canal.

"ZEROe teams powered on the iron pod, the future hydrogen-propulsion system designed for Airbus’ electric concept aircraft." (Intersting Engineering, Airbus's ZEROe: First engine fuel cell powers up for hydrogen flight) Electric power innovations. Fuel cells in aircraft and solar panels over Arizona canal.  Airbus Zero is a testbed for fuel cells that are used in commercial aircraft. The problem with aircraft is always noise and pollution. If the aircraft uses electric engines. That decreases noise levels and cleans the air, especially around airfields. Lightweight solar panels that can be installed on the wings and body of aircraft can give electricity to electric engines. And they can extend an aircraft's operational range.   The thing that makes this kind of system interesting is that the "flying cars" or cheap VTOL aircraft can use them as a power source. The hydrogen power cells can give energy to electric aircraft at night time. And that makes them m...
