    Why is it hard to impose sanctions on Russia? 

We always wonder why Trump hesitates to impose sanctions against Russia. The reason for that is extremely complicated. We know that the Russian government has large-scale nuclear weapons that they use as blackmail tools. That is an easy explanation. There is also another problem with Russia, and that problem is China. China is the biggest producer of rare earth metals. In the world. Even if the USA is one of the most powerful and advanced countries in the world. That country is bound in the international, global-scale raw material network. 

And that thing puts the brakes on the U.S. government. The USA has been the most advanced microchip maker on this planet. But the problem is that. This country requires many strategic metals and minerals that are used to make microchips and other technical equipment. This means that if China does not deliver those minerals, the USA’s ability to produce microchips decreases. Another problem is things like oil. Many oil producers in the Middle East are BRICS countries. Those countries want to see Putin as their ally. The reason for that is that those nations are non-democratic, and the activist movement wants to limit weapon sales to those countries. 

Those people know that Putin is not as sharp as Western actors who use those weapons. And Putin can sell things like nuclear weapons technology to those countries whose main source of income is minerals, and especially the oil and gas industry. The U.S military requires oil and gas for its global operations. The nuclear bomber can operate on a global scale using airborne refueling. But the support operators.  Like special forces teams. Need petroleum for their equipment, in case the nuclear bomber must make an emergency landing. Those operators also require a base in the Middle East where they can operate. In those situations. 

Another problem is that Putin thinks that he can try to buy politicians and other people to support his propaganda. People know. That Putin and his regime are willing to make sacrifices to stay in control.  The fact is that those sacrifices don’t touch Putin’s nomenclature. And that is the thing that is a big problem. Another thing is that nobody knows how big a sacrifice Putin is willing to make. Putin is the man who is in command. But he is not the entire regime. There are people in Russia who support his policy. That means changing the leader might not mean that war ends or anything changes in Russia. 

There is a certain cycle. When we think about the freedoms in the Soviet Union and Russia. There are always thaws when new, young leaders take their position. But when leaders turn old. The secret police will start to tighten its grip on society. That means arresting and sending to the GULAG. When the leaders change, the people who served those leaders turn into criminals. In one night. After Stalin’s death, his loyal servants like Beriya and many other people went to prison and were executed. That was the second purge. Those purges followed all other soviet leaders. And they still continued. The idea is that people who served the old regime are useless. And the new leader collects a new regime around him. 

The thing is that the secret police controls the entire society in Russia. If leaders are not pleasing the secret police organization. That person faces a heart attack. As long as the secret police exists, there cannot be big changes in the Russian government. The secret police surrounds all Russian leaders as it surrounded Stalin, Lenin, and the Tsar. That organization is like a state in a state. And those people don’t hesitate to use violence. It is almost certain that the secret police killed the ex. Chairman of the KGB, Yuri Andropov. because the leader of the Communist Party, or literally the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, wanted to limit the secret police’s power. The KGB probably used salt injection for that case because Andropov’s kidneys were damaged, and that caused death.

Russian stock markets are diving. And that thing is a good example of how military actions are affecting the economy. When we are thinking about things like strong leadership and authoritarianism we forget one thing. In an authoritarian nation, the leased has a different position than, in a non-authoritarian nation. 

In an authoritarian government, leadership has a bigger purpose than in a non-authoritarian government. And that thing means that the words of that kind of leader mean bigger things than in a non-authoritarian nation. 

When we are thinking about the crisis there is always the possibility that the investments would be confiscated. And the other thing that causes uncertainty in marketing is the thing that being fellow with the attacker is bad for business. If there will be some kind of sanctions. That means that those investments to the nation that will get sanctions can cause problems for that investor. 

The thing is that uncertainty in the marketing means that the investors will start to remove their investments from that nation. The thing is that people are afraid the authoritarian and violent governments. And that thing means that the investments to the authoritarian nation would be a hard thing for investors. 

Threatening to use force means that other governments must react to that kind of thing. And that means there is the possibility that investments that are made to that country would be withdrawn. The thing is that the marketing statuses tell about the trust for that country. 

Things like corruption and non-predictable actions would destroy the trust. And without trust nobody makes investments. The thing is that there is the possibility that nobody buys products like gas from Russia. The reason for that might be that the customers are afraid. That Russia would cut the energy shipments. If other nations would not follow its orders. 

When we are thinking the words that Nordstream-2 pipeline is a non-political project we must remember one thing. Nordstream-2 is the thing that brings billions of Euros in Russian cash. And those billions are free to use in all projects including nuclear weapon research. This means that all energy shipment contracts have a political dimension. The problem is that if Russia attacks Ukraine, the energy shipments would be a good political weapon in the hands of Russia. 

If Russia attacks there would be problematic things. One of them is the Russian as a business partner. If the Russian government turns very unpopular in the west. That causes problems with Russian investments in western Europe.

The problem with commercial media is that it is the merchandise of the media companies. Billions of dollars are used in the commercials every year and if the billions are going in the pockets of social media channels, they are away from somebody else pocket. This is the phrase, what I always repeating. And this is the thing, what makes a very complicated problem in the marketing industry. The thing is that "why somebody would pay to the channel if they get the production free". This is the reason, why the marketing industry uses social media applications for their job. Those channels are free, and also they are badly moderated, what makes possible to use the "freedom of artists" for making those commercials. The biggest audience can collect by delivering the commercials by free, and giving people something interesting at the same time, what makes them come to see the commercial.

And here is the danger. When we are thinking about the news, we have the right to believe, that those things, what we are looking at are made by journalists, who have high morale and that news is portraying the things by using criticism and neutral touch. But the thing is, that the faked news is a very complicated thing. The thing, what propagandists use is that the news could be dubbed, and there might be using virtual characters, what seems like news anchors.

Also, the texts what are going in the fake news can be cut or copy from the original news. This is a very dangerous situation, because if the news transfers to become the propaganda channel, would that be very influential for people opinions. This thing came in my mind when I read the story of the combinations between President Trumps administration and 20th. Century Fox television. If people do not know, that they are looking at commercial, would that very effective tool for controlling people mind. This is the idea of manipulation of masses.

The politician must get masses behind the ideology, and the impact layer for people is a very important thing in this kind of actions. If somebody yells something in some arena, nobody sees that. This thing does take contact an only couple of persons, but if the information delivery happens in the media, what makes contact with millions of people would that get the touch for people, who wants the politician as the leader.

One very good method to map the people opinions is to ask their opinions about news, and then the speeches, what politician keeps can be formed in the way, what serves the best way the local audience in every place. The idea is, that the closest things for each group are in the first, and in the speeches, the order of things in speeches are changed. The farmers would politician promise something else than metal workers, and the idea of political campaigns is that they are combinations.

Political permissions are like cake, what is offered to the voters. The politician must know, that every permission cannot even be kept, because other politicians would vote their down. And this gives the room of acting for those persons in boring suits. They need money for their campaigns, and this makes their relationship with Facebook and other social media very complicated.

The politician must promise something to the financial supporters that they would give money for trips and other things. Organizations of election campaigns are very expensive, and those persons need their salaries, and here comes the thing, what makes social media complicated thing. Also, those companies like Facebook has money to make investments to the politician's campaigns, and euros and dollars are very welcome in the cash of every politician in the world.
