When we are talking about the bullets, what is equipped with the channel, what goes thru it, we can say that this kind of ammunition is a nasty surprise for everybody, who doesn't expect them. The channel makes the air resistance very small, and that would cause that the bullet would fly long distance compared to the normal bullets.
The thing, what makes possible to use that kind of ammunition is small plate behind that bullet, and the powder exhaust gasses are pulling against it. When the bullet flies out of the barrel, that plate would be dropped off, and then the bullet would start to fly, and the air goes thru that hole, what makes the long flight to that bullet, what have smaller air resistance, than other bullets.
But this ammunition can be forbidden if it would change the shape. The channel what goes thru the bullet would be possible to install there a small nano technical generator, what would be able to make the normal bullet to send the microwaves to the target. In that case, the small generator would be connected to the small microwave transmitter, what will also damage or disturb the electronic components, before it will hit the target.
Microwave ammunition would give very interesting roles to the firearms. Another way to make that kind of bullets is using quartz crystals, what would be pressured with the explosives. That would give the normal rifle the capacity to disturb drones and other electronic components. In this case, the microwave system, what uses the small size of microwave transmitters would be launched at the same ammunition with the normal bullet.
Then bullet would fly thru the gun pipe, would the microwave send at the same time to the same target, that would disturb the electronic equipment like smart scopes and also the enemy sniper would feel pain, that makes the sharpshooting impossible. That kind of bullets are in use with special mission units, and they are classified as effective equipment. Or that kind of special effect ammunition development is continuing.
