The manual gearbox is the thing, what has been used in the automobiles for many years. Professional drivers on the racetracks and transport business are flagged for years that the manual gearbox is the best in the business. But the problem of this type of transmission are people, who are driving using too small gear, and that causes the increasing of fuel consumption. The myth of the highest consumption automatic gearboxes can be tracked from the big size American V-8 cars from the 1960's.

The manual gearbox is more economic than automatic gear if the person is an experienced driver, who knows how to change the gear in the right speed, and in that case, the manual gearbox is more economic than the automatic gearbox. And in the trucking the gears, what is used in the transmission must be so hard and massive, that the analogic automatic gearbox systems don't operate with heavy duty trucks.

But when we are thinking about electronic equipment and the gearboxes, we might think the very simple-looking advantage for manual gearboxes. If the robot hand would be connected to the manual gearbox, and the clutch would also be operated by using computer-controlled hydraulics. In this case, the computer can change the precise right gear in the gearbox, what fits the weather and other conditions.

If the system would be connected to the GPS, the fuel injection of the motor can be fixed that it fixes the driving speed for the speed limits. This system can communicate with the traffic control system, and it can flex also with temporary speed limits, and advice the driver by the best and fastest roads to the goal by using HUD system, what is connected to the windshield. In this case, the driver would drive the car, and the computerized systems are only meant for supporting the driver.

And the system must equip with the switcher, what will stop driving immediately if there are malfunctions. When we are thinking about the robot cars, what are made for self-driving, we must understand, that those cars are only at the test level, and that means, the driver must always be ready to take control in that car and follow the traffic.

In this case, we must notice, that the robot cars, what is not made perfectly can be more dangerous than normal cars because if the driver takes little sleep, reads the newspaper or plays with the computer during the drive, would that thing cause the accident. And in the case, that driver would sleep behind the steering wheel, would car drive in kilometers before the crash. And it would not probably stop or press break if something is ahead of it. So if the technology is not working perfectly, could that cause more damages, than ever before.
