Worms can someday save our lives.

Have you seen the movies, where some kind of magic mask gives a person the magic powers or causes some horror-effects, where some flesh-eating animals like worms are attacking people? This kind of masks are pure fiction, but it would be theoretically possible to build the mask or some other device, what could allow a person to communicate or give orders to some worms or such kind of animals.

There have been no signs, that it is possible in real life, but we know that the worms are living in large groups, and if we would create the thing, what allows to communicate with those primitive animals, we would create the ultimate tool or the most horrifying instrument in the history. For controlling the worms is planned to use microchips, what will communicate with its primitive nervous system, and the operator can drive that worm-like robot inside the body.

We know that the worms have a primitive nervous system, and they can communicate with together, and if we would create the thing, what allows that thing in real life, we could use worms like trichina we would create the ultimate tool for cancer surgery. Those worms would remove the tumors from the body at the very high speed, and they can operate in the blood vessels, but this kind of animals are dangerous because they can cause damages in the large area of tissues.

There has been an idea, that by using genome manipulation would be created the trichina, what would slip in the damaged blood veins, and then fix those tissues. That animal works like sea cucumber, when it would find the right place, and replace the wall of the blood vessel. That idea was introduced in a long time ago, and that thing would help to survive the people after the big accident.

In some discussions is also given an idea, that the genetically manipulated hagfishes would create a large number of human tissues in it slime gland, and those tissues would be used for fixing the massive injuries in the human body. In this scenario, the retrovirus would transfer the right genome in the cells of the hagfish, what would start to produce the tissues for the human, who needs those things. I read this thing from some magazine, and it feels very attractive and also a scary thing, what could save human lives.

For controlling those worms would be used the microchips, what will installed in the bodies of the trichina, and the doctor can drive the worm-like biorobot inside the body of the patient. Worms are very effective tools, because most of them don't feel pain, and they can operate in the very small places. And in those cases, the doctor would release those worms in the human body by using injection, and they can also destroy large scales of tumors. So they can remove also the plate type of tumors, what is hard to remove. But there is one little problem with those things. The worms must be kept under the control because if they would be released in the human body, could the result be like in the horror movies.
